For my significant writing project it shows to me how much my ability has increased to properly cite following the MLA guidelines and just fixing typical errors. In my essay I was able to cite all three of the articles that we received correctly using the MLA format. I have been learning how to properly cite using MLA format for a long time, this year though I feel like I was the most comfortable that I have ever been. In class we looked at sample examples of how to properly cite in MLA. In the rough draft of my paper I had a bunch of common errors such as a spelling error or putting a comma in the wrong place. In class one day we watched a video on how to properly use commas and I think that it really helped me get a better understanding for when to use commas. In my final draft I still had a few common errors but it was far less than what I had in the rough draft which showed me that I am getting better at being able to do revisions on my papers.
